Other Programs/Initiatives Underway After School Attendance Reporting System (ASAR) The Office of After School and Community School Programs has created the first district-wide After School Attendance Reporting (ASAR) System to comprehensively track student information and attendance. ASAR measures attendance for all CPS after-school activities, and each school inputs data online on a daily basis. ASAR is linked to the CPS Student Information System, that tracks student demographics, contact information, ITBS scores, attendance, immunizations, etc. The system is secure, and only school clerks and members of the CPS administration are able to access this data. |
